Top Companies by Net Income
Largest public companies ranked by net income on a trailing twelve months basis. Compare top issuers, sector peers and historical context on TickerLeague.
How TTM net income is measured
Trailing twelve months (TTM) net income is what remains of revenue after subtracting cost of goods sold, operating expenses, interest, and taxes — the bottom line of the income statement, summed across the most recent four fiscal quarters. Only companies with positive TTM net income appear on this leaderboard, so unprofitable issuers are excluded by design.
Net income differs from revenue, which counts sales regardless of profitability, and from market capitalization, which reflects how the market values future profits. For per-share earnings read EPS explained and for the valuation multiple P/E ratio explained. Values are ranked in USD after period-average FX translation (IAS 21).
